2. Sleeping in Grandma’s arms

3. Reading a good book

What about you?

There are a lot of bad things in this world, but there are a lot of good things too.  I would love to hear more about the good things.

Will you join me in looking for these gifts and sharing them with others?

This weeks theme is “3 gifts found in silence“.

Write about the 3 things you are thankful for to go with this weeks theme, (with or without pictures) – and make sure to include the link to your blog.

“Gratitude is the inward feeling of kindness received. Thankfulness is the natural impulse to express that feeling. Thanksgiving is the following of that impulse.”
~Henry VanDyke

I hope you have a wonderful “Thankful Thursday!”

I like all the shots, but the garden one really appeals to me (I’ll bring my own pile of books).

      Nancy,
Thank you! You’re welcome to bring your own books and stay awhile 🙂 it is a great place to relax & read, that’s for sure!
      Thanks for stopping by today!

  2. Your garden is lovely. Mine is still brown, although I did see some yellow crocuses today. Hopeful and thankful for that.

Thank you! It’s a lot of work, but the reward is well worth it! I’m so glad that you are beginning to see signs of spring. It really does give hope, and I know we can all use a little more of that! Thanks for stopping by and visiting awhile! 🙂

Oh, look at that baby! Yes, being thankful even in hard times is a good, good thing.

Yes, he’s pretty amazing! Thanks for stopping by! I read your post about the funeral…those are tough times to go through. So many questions, without answers. Thankfully, we have a Hope that is greater than our grief that we can hold on to. Hang in there!
