I usually don’t take pictures of my food, and most of the time, it’s a challenge just to eat lunch!
But once in a while, we take a break from eating good stuff, and go for something like this!
An all American favorite for lunchtime…cheeseburger and fries!
I don’t eat them very often, but when I do, “In-N-Out” is the place to go!
The “double-double” on the left was for my husband, I indulged in the “single” on the right.

We just had to go to In-N-Out burger when we were in LA a few years ago… brought back a paper hat for our son. It’s just one of those things. Hope you enjoyed your “splurge”!!! 🙂

animal style?
I’ve heard of that – but I’m not sure what it is 🙂 Maybe you can fill me in!
I know that they have lots of “versions”, but I usually stick with the cheeseburger. I wish they had a veggie burger, but then I guess that might not be the same.
We don’t have In & Out here, but when we visited out west last year, that was the big thing. In & Out supposedly has a “secret menu” where you can order things that aren’t listed on the menu, like “3×3” and “animal style” etc. Google it and look at In & Out Secret Menu on Wikipedia. My take on animal style was that it had so many toppings you should eat it out of the box like a trough, so you wouldn’t get your hands messy!
I’ll check it out – I probably would never get it “animal style” though…I don’t like getting my hands all messy when I eat!! 🙂 That’s part of the reason why I don’t like eating hamburgers very often!
