Are those bananas in Your Yard? My sister brought me home-grown lemons once and I was so thankful.
No…not in my yard, but in an area where I live! I do have lemons and oranges in my yard – not ripe yet, just the flowers, but I love having home grown food. The banana tree is way too big for my yard!
That last photo is really precious. A real family heirloom in the making if you ask me. I love taking a moment to be thankful, it just helps everything else fall into place.
Yes, it is one of my favorite pictures too! They are both pretty enamored with each other! The relationship between a Grandpa and his grandson is so special, and this Grandpa routinely melts into a puddle when he is around his grandkids! 🙂 Kind of melts my heart too!
I have found that when I stop and take a moment to reflect on the things that I am thankful for, my outlook on life takes on a whole new perspective 🙂

we’ve got two bunches of bananas growing in our yard right now as well… recognized that silhouette right away. love the picture of baby looking up at grandpa ~ so sweet!
In your yard!! That’s great! These aren’t growing in my yard, but it would be cool if they were! They’re growing in an area of our city we like to visit from time-to-time! Do you eat them?
