When my daughter was seven and broke her arm with a cast from her fingers to her shoulder, she told me before she fell asleep that it was “God’s way of making her slow down!” One way of looking at it!
Now that’s one smart little seven year old girl! 🙂 I like the fact that she found the positive in an otherwise negative situation – hopefully she still does that! I think it’s the best approach to take.
