When my grandson hands me a picture and tells me he did it just for me…it’s placed in a prominent place, and treated with great respect and honor.
It is after all a valuable “masterpiece” in my eyes!

Thank you! Just about anytime those little hands touch something, and say that they did it just for me, makes me melt! I’m pretty much a softy when it comes to my grandkids 🙂 I think they know it too….but that’s ok, I think that’s what a Grandma is suppose to do, right? 🙂

I know, wasn’t that awesome? I think that it might just have been one of the best parts of the picture!
No artwork better than that done by the ones we love. The hallway between my kids bedroom is called the Kids’ Gallery because of all their framed artwork that covers the walls. I could give away just about everything in my house, no problem, but I couldn’t ever part with the artwork. You are absolutely right, it is indeed priceless!

I know what you mean about keeping the pictures. I have quite a collection of them now. I look through them from time to time, and I think, how could I possible part with any of it!
Never going to happen in my lifetime, that’s for sure!

Just came from a Diebenkorn exhibit at the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park. He had a collage of a sitting woman — but I think I like your grandson’s collage better. I am serious!
Wow! You are so sweet! I of course think that it’s pretty awesome, but I’m his Grandma, and that’s just what I do! My collection is growing with treasures from my grandkids. It’s just great!
