One of the last notes I ever received from my Dad…something that I will always treasure.
He died very unexpectedly, just a few months later. He was 40…I was 13.

Oh my, what a beautiful treasure! Perfect for the challenge. Such a wonderful keepsake. Sorry for your loss.
Thank you – it does mean so very much to me. My Dad didn’t write me very many notes – so this makes it even more special!
So happy you are finding those special treasures. I love you – Mom
One of my favorite treasures! 🙂
Wow … I am super emotional right now. Thanks for sharing.
Ahhh…you’re so sweet.
That IS a lovely treasure! And the memories you have of your Dad add to that treasure immensely, I’m sure.
Thank you! Yes…so many good memories.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful memory of your dad. I can’t but be happy and sad. My dad also died suddenly. He was 47 and I was 15.
It does bring up a lot of different emotions. I’m sorry for you loss – growing up without a Dad is difficult. I am so thankful for the good memories, I hope you have some of your own.
Thank you.
Ah, this treasure remind me to my grandfather. He died a days later after l left him to go school in other town.
Ohh, I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope that you have some wonderful memories of your grandfather that you can treasure. Grandfather’s are pretty special people 🙂
This is so lovely. To have something in your parents’ handwriting is so special once they are gone — and a beautiful, promising note to you is just…. ahhh….
Thank you – I’m so glad I kept it…who would have thought that something so small and seemingly insignificant would turn out to be so special.
