3 gifts nailed together…
1. I’m thankful for the people, whoever they were, who took the time, effort and energy to build this amazing play structure. They nailed together an amazing place for children to release some energy, and have some good old fashion fun! Just a few blocks from my daughter’s house, it’s a wonderful adventure for our grandson, and a perfect platform for fun!
2. I’m thankful for the mind (and the man), who came up with the idea to take a rather mundane area of our backyard, and turn it into a beautiful oasis of our very own. A project that was nailed together several years ago, and has provided endless hours of enjoyment and relaxation.
3. And if that weren’t enough…this guy is also working on nailing together an enclosed garden for us! It’s just the beginning, but if it turns out anything like the deck, I know it will be grand.
These are just a few of the things that I am thankful for today. There are so many more, but I’ll save them for another day.
I hope you have a wonderful “Thankful Thursday”!

All wonderful ways to celebrate Spring!
Thank you – we’ve been celebrating Spring for a while where I live, and yes, it is certainly a wonderful time of the year. I agree!
Outstanding! We had a very similar playground to this one when we lived in Gainesville, FL and the kids loved it! It was always good for a couple hours of downtime for me while the kids wore themselves out, which meant of course, even more downtime for me when they napped! 🙂
p.s. bring that guy out here to Bama, I know I could put his backyard building to very good use!
:). That playground is amazing!! I haven’t seen one like it where we live. It’s a busy place, that’s for sure. Great for the kids & the parents/grandparents.
Oh, and that “guy” said that if you’re near a Robert Trent Jones trail golf course, you have a deal! 🙂
Darling the Robert Trent Jones golf course is right next to my Target, about 10 miles up the road! We can drop him off and head to Target. A win win for all. 🙂
Oh my! How tempting! Don’t be surprised when we show up on your door step one of these days 🙂
No problem. You can stay at the lake, you remember the view, and it is 15 minutes from the golf course and you could just lounge by the water while he plays 18 or 36! 🙂 You are welcome anytime!
I love Southern hospitality! 🙂 and yes, I remember the view…
I’m telling you, one of these days you’re going to get the surprise of your life when we show up on your door step!! You are amazing, my friend.
Thanks! I needed that today. Seriously. And I will tell you where we keep the key. Hey, why have nice stuff if you can’t share it with the nice people in your life. 🙂 Seems pointless to live any other way.
That new garden looks to be amazing!
I hope so. I’m strictly a “trial & error” kind of gardener, but I really enjoy it. It’s great “therapy” too 🙂
I look forward to your post every Thursday! This was took a lot of thought, very clever, you nailed it!
You, my friend, are the clever one! 🙂 glad you liked it.
Awh shucks
Couldn’t help but thinking of the three nails that bought my ransom from sin! I am forever thankful for them and Him! 😊
Oh yes! Forever thankful for HIM! 🙂
