He must have been thrilled!
I think we ALL were! He was standing there watching all of the people as they took there turns to have a bird on their shoulder, and he asked if he could hold the “white bird”! It kind of took us all by surprise, especially his Mom! Once he got the first one on his shoulder, he was ready to “hold” them all 🙂 It was really pretty cute – such a brave little boy!
Priceless fun memory!
It certainly is. Thank you!
Too cute! Been thinking about you this week with San Diego being in the news so much. Hope you and this little guy, as well as all your family are safe!
Thank you Charlotte – how very kind of you to ask!
Yes, we are all safe and sound, and were not touched by the fires. It’s always a little unnerving anytime there is a fire close enough to see or smell the smoke, however, these fires were about 10 miles from our home. It was so HOT last week, over 100 for a few days in a row (something we aren’t too familiar with in the month of May!) but it has cooled down nicely to our normal San Diego weather again, and I beleive the fires have been contained. Crazy that there were so many at one time, and unfortunately they were started by a person 😦
Thanks again for thinking about me and checking on us – makes me feel pretty special! 🙂
Well you are special and I do think of you and I am so glad that all is well and that you are safe. Keep it that way girl! 🙂
Aww, thanks! You made my day. I’m doing my very best to stay safe 🙂
