I haven’t seen clouds like this before. Beautiful capture, Becky.
Aren’t they amazing?! This was taken when we were in Colorado last week. The clouds were followed by a pretty crazy thunderstorm, with lots of thunder and lightening, but I think it was worth it to get that amazing sunset! 🙂
Spectacular!!! 🙂
Thank you Seyi! 🙂
Wow! So powerful. Magnificent!
Thank you Rene! It was awesome!
Stunning capture, the sky so intense! Was it a little scary to view? 🙂
Hi Amanda,
Great question! At first, as the sun was setting, it was just beautiful to watch, nothing scary about it…but as the evening went on and the clouds continued to roll in, the storm grew and we were treated to an amazing lightening storm. I wasn’t scared, we were in a safe place, but some of the people that I was with were a little scared. It can be a little frightening at times, but it’s also pretty thrilling! 🙂
Sounds amazing! I’m glad you weren’t too scared by the day after tomorrow scene! You definitely got some great pics 😉
Thank you so much!
Oh my! I love clouds and photographing them! These are spectacular
!
Thank you! It was breathtaking! I find myself being quite drawn in by the clouds as well 🙂
YES, they are on fire!
Looks like it, doesn’t it?! It was an amazing evening, we even got lightening and thunder added to the mix!
Wow. Beautiful. It’s amazing during sunrise and sunset, the many different colors and shadows going on… it’s like a show. One of my favorite places to be during both these times is on the oceanside, sitting there on the shore just watching “the show”.
Thank you!
I agree with you – Living on the West Coast, I love watching the sunset while sitting on the shore. It’s so peaceful, and calming. Always a good place to go when I need to relax and just be still.
Okay, this might sound totally weird but just yesterday I reread Revelation and this looks like something that could have come straight out of that! 🙂 Very cool picture. Very cool indeed.
Thank you Charlotte! Revelation has some pretty awesome word pictures in it! I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to walking on those gold streets! 🙂
