3 Gifts of Endings….
1. I’m so thankful for the time, energy and strength to work at bringing an “ending” to this room in our house! An edition that has been well used, but was not well-built.
After many, many years of discussing the fact that we need to tear it down, there is no turning back now!
2. I’m always thankful for a happy ending to a baseball game! Opening game of the season and the Padres won! Although the season hasn’t gone quite as well as everyone had hoped for, it’s still fun, and I still enjoy the wins when they come.
Like they say…there’s always next year 🙂
3. And then there was this.
How could I not be anything but thankful for this?
A glorious ending to another day…another day to be thankful for my eyesight and the fact that I am able to actually see this beautiful sight.
These are just a few of the many things that I am so very thankful for on this Thankful Thursday.

Oh I do hope you participated in the sledgehammer fest that is demo. It does the soul good to just whack the heck of something, not to mention take part in bringing something down that is supposed to be standing up. Always the rebel I guess! Congrats on the reno. Enjoy the process! 🙂
Oh my yes….my husband took much delight in allowing me to have first “whack” at whatever structure we were destroying at the moment. I must confess, it’s really not for me, too much dirt and sweat, but yes, there was a certain amount of satisfaction to it all. I’m already ready for it to be all done though, and I think we still have a little ways to go. Like you said, it’s a process. Enjoying it? Well, I think I need to work on that part 🙂
