I am just a quiet person in a loud world.
A wife to one amazing man. I love him with all my heart, and after 36 years, he still calls me his girlfriend. We are madly in love with each other, and he is my life. I don’t like the thought of living without him….ever.
I am a mom to two unique and wonderful kids. A handsome young man, and a beautiful young lady. I love them more than they will probably ever know. I am very proud of them, and my one desire is that they will still like me when I am old.
I have three wonderful grand kids, and more times than not, they melt my heart. They are a joy and delight to my world. There really are no good words that describe what it feels like to hold them in my arms, or when they put their hand in mine.
I am the youngest child in a family of four, but now there are only two. Just my brother and I. I had two older sisters, but they left this world much too soon for us. I was my Daddy’s little girl, and probably still would be, if he were here, but he passed away a lifetime a go. My mom calls me her “blessing”. I try not to disappoint.
I’m a loyal friend, a good listener, and fascinated by the world of others. I love music, books, coffee, and going on road trips with my best friend.
I am comfortable with who I am.

Yes, Ann Voskamp is quite a lady! She has truely been an inspiration to me. If you haven’t read the book yet, I would encourage you to do so. It’s not an easy read, makes you stop and think a lot, but she shares some very thought provoking concepts. Life changing, really! 🙂

It’s always good to hear another woman say that she thinks her husband is amazing! It makes me so happy, because it’s one of the best gifts in life! And just you wait…those grandkids are going to blow your mind! I always heard how great it was to have grandkids, but hearing about it, and having them, are two completely different things! There is nothing quite like it in this world!
