The word challenge for this week is castle.
A talented young man was building this one day when we were taking a stroll on the beach.

We came across this house one day when we were exploring one of our favorite spots where we live.
We were fascinated by the detailed work on this roof.
Could it be that we found a hobbit house? 🙂
Fascinating roof work!

I was sitting in an airplane on the runway, waiting to take off, when I saw this unexpected sight out my window!
It’s called a “haboob”!
The definition I found to explain this strange phenomenon is this: A haboob (Arabic: هَبوب “blasting/drafting”) is a type of intense dust storm carried on an atmospheric gravity current. Haboobs occur regularly in arid regions …
It would appear that Phoenix AZ classifies as one of those arid regions!
And it was certainly something unexpected, that’s for sure!
Not far in the distance stands this solitary tree. It has been named, Lone Cypress.
A very old tree that has stood the test of time and weather, and has become a well-known landmark in this part of the world!
It also just happens to be one of the most photographed spots along the West Coast!
Cypress Point, Pebble Beach CA
The word for this week is: boat
A very intriguing old boat, just hanging out in a mysterious fog in Morro Bay.

I’m not sure how this even happened, no adjustments were made to this picture before, during or after it was taken.
It is extremely vibrant though!
