Thankful Thursday: 3 Gifts Flourishing
3 Gifts Flourishing…
When I think of something that is “flourishing“, the first thing that comes to mind is relationships, life and love.
Each one flourishes in its own unique way, and yet they often interconnect. It might even be safe to say that one often has influence on another. It certainly makes for a happier life, when it’s filled with healthy, loving, relationships. 🙂
So I took a look at those three things again today, from another level, and I came up with this.
I’m pretty sure it’s nothing new or profound, it’s just my take on things that are flourishing, and how very thankful I am for all of them!
1. I am so thankful for the growing relationship of books, flourishing in the life of this little guy!
2. My beautiful rose plant that just keeps giving life and flourishing year after year, in spite of my lack of knowledge of rose care!
3. And last, but certainly not the least of all, the most important thing that is flourishing in my life is my love for my amazing man! Can I just shout it out from the mountain top?
I am so VERY thankful for him, and I love him so much! 🙂
These are just a few of the many things that I am thankful for.
What are your “heavenly blessings“?
Will you join me in looking for these gifts and sharing them with others?
“The unthankful heart discovers no mercies; but the thankful heart will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings.”
― Henry Ward Beecher
Time to stop
No complaints
It’s just a matter of time
“Time only counts when you have a purpose”
I came across this line in a book I’m reading. It made me stop and pause for a moment.
Is this true?
Without purpose, time doesn’t count?
I know that without purpose in my life, it can feel as though I have no value.
But does this mean that if I don’t keep track of time, there is no purpose?
Hmmmm….
Value. Purpose. Time.
I think they might all just go hand-in-hand.
If I have a purpose, I feel valued.
If I feel valued, I have purpose.
If I have purpose…time and the things I do in that time, will count.
It certainly helps to have purpose and meaning in life, but I really think that with or without it….time still counts.
Oh happiness…
Thankful Thursday: 3 gifts before 9 am
3 gifts before 9 am …
1. A hot cup of coffee brought to me each morning by my very best friend, my husband. He’s pretty awesome!
2. A nice hot shower to wake me up – sorry no picture for this one, but you get the idea!
3. A little something for my tummy, to give me fuel for the day
Just a few of the many things that I am so very thankful for today.
What are you thankful for?
Will you join me in looking for these gifts and sharing them with others?
“We tend to forget that happiness doesn’t come as a result of getting something we don’t have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.” Fredrick Koeing –
I hope you have a wonderful “Thankful Thursday!

Lessons in love
I am madly in love. I love being in love, and I love to love. Especially this guy!
Love is a feeling, and an attitude, and a choice. I have made the choice to love. I make this decision every day.
It is so simple, and yet it can be so complex.
The complex part of love is that it naturally goes against what true love is all about. Human nature says to be selfish, but true love is anything but selfish.
Love gives, when all it wants to do is get. Love accepts, when all it wants to do is change. Love listens, when all it wants to do is talk.
Love hangs in there, and never, ever gives up.
True love never fails.
