Thankful Thursday: 3 gifts nailed together

3 gifts nailed together…

1.  I’m thankful for the people, whoever they were, who took the time, effort and energy to build this amazing play structure. They nailed together an amazing place for children to release some energy, and have some good old fashion fun! Just a few blocks from my daughter’s house, it’s a wonderful adventure for our grandson, and a perfect platform for fun!

2. I’m thankful for the mind (and the man), who came up with the idea to take a rather mundane area of our backyard, and turn it into a beautiful oasis of our very own. A project that was nailed together several years ago, and has provided endless hours of enjoyment and relaxation.

My Secret Garden

3. And if that weren’t enough…this guy is also working on nailing together an enclosed garden for us! It’s just the beginning, but if it turns out anything like the deck, I know it will be grand.

These are just a few of the things that I am thankful for today. There are so many more, but I’ll save them for another day.

I hope you have a wonderful “Thankful Thursday”!

Thankful Thursday: A gift cloth, steel, wood

Today I am looking for a gift of cloth, steel, and wood….and since I’m visiting one of my favorite little people, of course I will have to include a picture of him!

1. A gift of cloth…a favorite stuffed animal named Harold. Very well loved by one little guy!

2. The steel structure at the playground makes for a great adventure for little boys…and girls too!

Just a few of the many things that I am so very thankful for today.

What are you thankful for?

Will you join me in looking for these gifts and sharing them with others?
