Thankful Thursday: 3 gifts behind a door

3 gifts behind a door

1.  I’m thankful for this wonderful oasis that greets me when I open the door to my backyard.

2. And when I step out my front door, get in my car and drive just about 20 minutes west of my house, I’m greeted by this glorious sight!

I’m so thankful for this breathtaking view.  It just never gets old, no matter how many times I see it.

3. I’m thankful for this door – the door to the library – any library! A door that opens up to endless adventures, information, opportunity and mystery.

These are just a few of the many things that I am thankful for today.

It’s important to stop…take a moment…and reflect on the good things in life.

Will you join me in counting the blessings on your journey through life?

Thankful Thursday: 3 Gifts of Change

3 Gifts of Change:

1. I know they look cool and are fun to look at, but I must say, I am very thankful for the change in our transportation.

2.  It really wasn’t that long ago, and we were watching movies by using one of these! A change in the entertainment industry that we are probably all thankful for!

3. And this, well, it’s just a personal favorite. I’m thankful for the change from dusk to dawn.

Thankful Thursday : A gift bent, beautiful and broken

A gift bent, beautiful and broken…

This was a little hard for me to come up with pictures for these. Beautiful, now that’s an easy one, the other two were a little more of a challenge.

I’m thankful for the way these flowers just made me smile. The way that they were all bent over, and still so proudly on display at this restaurant.

A beautiful sight of the sun shining on the ocean.  I’m so thankful for my eyesight and the ability to see wonderful things like this!

And the last one, while I’m not thankful that it’s broken, I am so very thankful that it can be fixed and that I will be wearing my wedding ring again, soon!

Tomorrow should be the day I finally get my cast off!

Thankful Thursday: 3 Gifts Smelled

3 Gifts Smelled…

1. The smell of a newborn baby. Such a unique smell.  So sweet, so pure.  There is nothing quite like it in the world.

2. Coffee.  Yes.  The absolutely, wonderful and amazing smell of coffee.  I am so thankful for this!

3. And from my garden, I love the smell of the jasmine as it wafts across the yard.  I only wish it lasted a little longer.
