And the nominations are…

My blogging friend, Margaret Langridge has nominated me for this awesome award.

It has taken me much to long to respond to it though, and she has probably forgotten by now that she even did this for me!

So, do me a favor and check out her blog, it’s amazing! I know you will enjoy it as much as I have, it’s called: Along Life’s Road

The award she has so graciously bestowed upon me is:

The Versatile Blogger Award

Don’t know what it is?

I didn’t either, but I checked it out, and now I know.  You can check it out to, just click on this link.

The “rules” for this award go like this…

  •  Present 15 deserving bloggers with the award.

  1. Congrats on your award and thank you for including me in your list of nominees! What a nice post to read today. 🙂 Wow, all but 4 states in the US…

Thank you! I have really enjoyed getting to know you through your blog, and it was my pleasure to include you on the list. I hope this will be a way for other people to find out for themselves what a great blog you have. 🙂
      Have a wonderful evening.
      Becky

  2. Georgia says:

Thank you so much Becky, I really appreciate it.

  3. Thank you, Youngest Daughter. 😀 Now, please tell me you have been to Nebraska and Kansas. These two states raised me…I’m hoping that of the four you haven’t been to none of them are Midwestern states. I love those states and miss living there. Anyway, I enjoyed getting to know you better and we share cooking in common, as well.

    • Becky says:

Would you believe I actually LIVED in Nebraska? I lived in Hastings for 6 years, and yep I’ve been to Kansas too! My husband was born and raised in Garden City, KS! We actually met several years later in Colorado! I’ve been to all of the Midwestern/Western states. The ones I haven’t been too are in the Southeast.
So yep, we have quite a bit in common, now don’t we! 🙂

      • Ok. I just about came through my computer screen! I grew up in Sutton, NE, which is about 30 minutes east of Hastings on HWY 6. Born and raised…went to college in Colby, KS and then to Kansas State University. My father’s family is mostly from Boulder, Longmont, CO.

        • Becky says:

Wow! I guess it’s true what they say…it really is a small world! It’s pretty crazy isn’t it?! Nice to meet you neighbor 🙂
It’s been a LONG time since I’ve lived in NE, but yes, I know where Sutton is, and I’m sure my husband knows where Colby is. I have very fond memories of Boulder (date night) and the Longmont area! We still have family living in the Denver area, but we’re pretty happy to be living in Southern CA 🙂
Hope your computer survived the jump! Ha!
